Ato

Chrome extension

With the Ato extension, the URL and title of the front tab in Chrome go to Ato on the same Mac. Tabs in private windows are never sent, and page content is not read.

The extension is distributed on the Chrome Web Store. It is being prepared for publication, and this page will link to the store once it is available.

Install

  1. Open Ato once. This sets up the connection between the extension and Ato.
  2. On the Ato page of the Chrome Web Store, click "Add to Chrome".
  3. Click the extension's icon. When it says "Sending to Ato on this Mac", you are done.

Permissions

  • tabs: to read the URL and title of the front tab
  • nativeMessaging: to pass them to Ato on the same Mac
